1. Cottagecore
If you’ve started to see an images of countryside scenes or peasant dresses with lace or traditional elements popping up in your social media streams, you’re not alone: Cottagecore is coming a way! It’s a movement of back to agricultural life, skills, and crafts. “As a concept, it embraces a simpler, sustainable existence that is more harmonious with nature,” says Davina Ogilvie, founder of Wovn Home.
Cottage style as an aesthetic that romanticises the return to traditional attributes, cottagecore emphasis on a mix of rural self-sufficiency and delicate décor, with a heavy dose of nostalgia. You will start to see people use countryside effect or cottage filter in their social media. That’s- becomes popular day by day.
Brown, beige or coco or vintage colour is trend of 2021 which bring up the cottagecore style. Cottagecore is something that offers a very simplistic and traditional element but I think it can also be mixed with touches of luxe rustic style. Element of cottagecore such as elegant vintage colour, gilded cutlery or any gold accessories are all ways to get the look of cottagecore style. Fancy of cottagecore style? Then you are people who adopt the lifestyle that comes with it, like limiting technology, foraging, baking pies and simply enjoying domestic tasks. Off to grandmother’s house we go!
2. Contemporary Country
Country style still leading the trend. Contemporary country mix colour with rustic and characterful prints for more modern vibe. Contemporary country allows for more playful and nuanced aspects along with minimal element. It add a little warm tones, meadow prints and beautiful embroidery that mix and match with natural.
Contemporary country style must have wooden elements. The use of wood makes country design style we know and love. Any wood materials can enhance the style such as exposed beams, wood paneling, and original wooden floorboards. It’s make your house a cozy and inviting look that lift both home and spirit.
Country style interior design is simple – more depth is added as you modernize it, but it still maintains that simplicity. Use more neutral colors, such as whites, creams, browns, and beiges make perfect hues and muted tones to keep a contemporary country home feeling warm and welcoming.
3. Global Influence
Basically, 2021 is a back to old school year which mainly focus on traditional style. Global influence design inspired by earthy color palettes and warm, natural textures and pairs perfectly with wooden, woven and rattan home accessories. It’s bold safari feel is influenced by wildlife and African plains- says Jennifer Ebert, from Homes and Garderns.
Taking influence from nature, nostalgia and the desire for a tropical, living spaces will reflect the current situation we are faced and embracing calming color and familiar patterns that create a sanctuary in any home, says Maria Parry.Mix with Asia home accessories will be extra perfect.
4. Oceans Hues
There’s something about relaxing by the sea, with the sun in your face and breeze over your head that no one can seem to get over. Bring the feeling home with our oceans hues. Beach feeling be like.
A simple two-toned blue palette paired with oak and white furniture keep things cozy and breezy, while a wooded installation can stand out and work as a stylish focal point. Soothing green plants reflect the outdoors and complete the seaside feel.
White walls are the first component of oceans hues that will amplify the natural light while layered bedding in pops of blue with an extended teal headboard forms an inviting spot to snooze or read a book. Ocean blues are a key colour trend of year 2021. Paint with ocean blues colour can enhance inky tones, blue is the perfect color for creating a relaxing home.
5. Maximalist
Everyone talking about minimalist but now we focus on maximalist design. Maximalist design pop out because the idea of Hygge and the comfort lifestyle swept in. Maximalist interior design is having a major moment as we seek to curate our homes and enveloping our homes with even more of those things.
You will be simply adding more of what you love to your home. There are no rules to maximalist decorating. All you need is a passion for creating a truly unique space. You can load up on lots of colour and artwork such as painting, visual art or books.
Maximalist style works best when it’s imperfect so just add any elements that you think to add. There is absolutely no need to stress over matching furniture or colors — in fact, that’s the best part.
